Ms. Maria Barranco, owner and artistic director received her training and diploma from the Diane Desporte Dance Academy. Ms. Barranco has studied extensively in New York, as well as throughout the United States. She was the associate teacher at the Diane Desporte Academy for many years. Ms. Barranco was also the co-owner and director for the Academy of Creative Dance. ​Ms. Barranco was a member of the first New Orleans Saints Dance team under the direction of the late Tommy Walker, entertainment director of Disneyland. ​Maria has been teaching physical education for preschool students as well as dancing professionally for television.
