We have a summer camp program and lesson program that enables young people in the community to experience the many different entry points into the equine world. We also specialize in obstacle course training and open obstacle course competitions.

Although I loved coaching at the collegiate level (from 1994-2007), I always felt I had even better contributions to make in coaching fundamentals of the throwing events. Since I am a school coach at Franklin Road Academy (2010-present), I may or may not be able to attend competitions of my private clients, thus I like to prepare my clients to understand their events very well, and how to detect and fix technical issues during practice and competition. Many send me video clips during their competitions, and I can often provide immediate feedback. I have now coached 22 years, 13 at the collegiate level, and I am entering my 10th year at the middle and high school level.

The multi-track complex features a 3/4-mile NASCAR oval and a 1/4-mile NHRA championship drag strip. After celebrating both the 20th anniversary of the O’Reilly NHRA Mid-South Nationals and the 10th anniversary of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O’Reilly 200 in 2007, the track observes another milestone in 2008 with the 10th annual running of the NASCAR Nationwide Series. The facility also includes a 1.77-mile road course and annually hosts more than 200 events at its three distinct tracks within the complex. Located in the “Home of the Blues, Birthplace of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” Memphis Motorsports Park continues to excel as a sports entertainment destination and is consistently ranked as one of Tennessee’s Top 10 Attractions by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development.
