"These collages are so much fun to make!" I find myself saying it all the time and it's true! I love it when people tell me that my art makes them smile. I started these collages for my first art show in July 2011. Little did I know that they soon would be taking over my dreams and my every waking thought. I have a constant "buzz" in my head trying to come up with new ideas. (Maybe that's why I make so many bug collages?) Sometimes I sketch my ideas out just to clear my head or I sit down at my table and start putting pieces together. My inspiration comes from all around me but I think I'm mostly influenced by the recycled materials I use. A shape, color or some rusty metal can spur all kinds of creative ideas.
