A brief history of the Dolphin Players
The Dolphin Players are a 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax deductible.
The Dolphin Players were organized in 1979 with the mission of producing quality theater in an intimate setting. For the first eight years, we were housed at the On Broadway Theater. We then moved to the Old City Hall restaurant and then to the Marshfield High School Lab Theater and the Hales Center for the Performing Arts on the Southwestern Oregon Community College campus. We have also produced in a variety of other venues, including both Coos Bay and North Bend city libraries, the Coos Art Museum, the Coos Bay Fire Hall, various locations on the Southwestern campus, and local churches.
