Our Hot Peppers are grown in a very special place we call Rancho Bella Vista , "farm with a beautiful view". Owned and operated by the Jimenez Family, this little slice of heaven is a place we are now fortunate enough to call home. For generations the Jimenez name has been synonymous with respect for the land and her fruits. This respect comes from deep migrant farm worker roots, and the pride of caring for "nuestra tierra" (our land). In turn, nuestra tierra has always taken care of us. At Rancho Bella Vista we employ sustainable agriculture methods which exclude all use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides, plant growth regulators, and livestock feed additives. We rely on crop rotation, crop residues, animal manures and mechanical cultivation to maintain soil productivity and tilth to supply plant nutrients, and to control weeds, insects and other pests. Maintaining full respect for nuestra tierra and the health and safety of our customers we are committed to: - Growing healthy and flavorful specialty hot peppers - Using environmentally safe and pesticide free products - Employing all natural and sustainable farming methods We hope our specialty hot peppers remind you that pride, warmth, love and profound importance can be found in life's simple pleasures. In an average growing season we have anywhere from 15 – 20 varieties of hot peppers and 2-5 ornamentals growing at Rancho Bella Vista. Although we grow a host of different varieties, many are primarily held in reserve for making our processed products. We don't necessarily have on hand large amounts of fresh pepper in wholesale quantities.

Four generations of farmers dating back to early 1900s in Central Illinois including Effingham, Shelby, and Fayette counties started by Alma (Henderson) and Roy McKay. They passed the family business down to their only son Max McKay who married Louise (Koester) and shared their passion with sons Randy and Daniel McKay. Mr. Dan McKay and his four sons continue the family business using the most advanced technologies and newest farm machinery to provide long-term growth and annual income for their landowners. McKay Farms, headquartered in Beecher City, IL, and farms in Effingham, Fayette, and Shelby counties.

Originally located in the heart of Indiana, just North of Indianapolis, Heritage Oak Farm was founded to produce a wide variety of premium quality evergreen conifers for the landscaper, garden center, and real estate developer with tree transplanting and tree moving equipment. Those years of experience in the tree nursery business has taught us the right equipment is essential for improving the productivity of our operation to insure its financial success. Soon, as our customers saw the unique tree transplanting equipment we designed and built for our own use, they began asking us to reproduce copies for them. That is how we came to develop the ProLine™ series of nursery and tree transplanting equipment for the nurseryman and landscape professional. While our primary focus has been redirected toward developing new productivity-enhancing devices instead of exclusively growing conifers, we recognize that actual field usage is the ‘proof-of-the-pudding’ that separates ProLine™ from much of our competition. We continue to field test and refine every new idea until we’re satisfied that it does what it’s supposed to do safely, efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively. Only then do we introduce it as a new product deserving of the ProLine™ brand.
