The Awakening Service is held in the Fellowship Hall at 8:30am. It provides a time of worship in a relaxed atmosphere. Coffee, doughnuts, and juice are available for the early risers' enjoyment. The music for this service is contemporary and led by a praise band. The Liturgical Service begins at 11:00am in the Sanctuary. A more traditional structure and conventional hymns are features of this service. The church choir sings selected pieces every Sunday, and the handbell choir performs on occasion as well. Woodlawn United Methodist Church offers traditional Sunday School at 10:00 a.m.and Sunday Worship Services at 11:00 a.m. In addition there is a fellowship dinner on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. followed by activities and a devotional p[rogram. Choir practice begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening. Beginning in May 2011, the church will open the Woodlawn PreSchool and child Development Center. There are many small group programs for people of all ages to get involved, worship God, and serve the community.
