I started my career in the Insurance Industry to help people. I come from a construction background of being an Electrician for over 10 years. I have seen many co-workers and fellow jobsite employees get hurt on the job, time and time again. Those people had no health insurance and no financial stability. They have shared their stories with me from losing their house to even losing their loved ones. They were left with a huge debt in medical bills and even in some cases funeral expenses. It literally broke my heart to here how such good people have the worst happen to them. I said to myself, I can help provide people with benefits that could financially help them, so they would not lose their house, their car, put food on the table for their family and have cash to help pay medical bills.
