I have been providing professional calligraphy since 1988. I learned this art form through years of professional study at the New School for Social Research (parent school to Parsons School of Design), The School of Sacred Arts and other highly regarded artists in New York City. This type of calligraphy is considered to be more difficult and time consuming than other styles. Popular calligraphy projects are escort cards, place cards, vows, poems, prayers, programs, menus, letters, book inscriptions and the personalization of ornaments, frames and gifts. Calligraphy can be done on a variety of surfaces. Baseballs, sand dollars, wooden slices of a branch, pottery, and ornaments are some of the surfaces I have experience with.
