After being involved in architecture and construction for over four decades doing Hospitality, Retail, Office/Commercial, Clubhouses, Childcare, Telecommunication, Industrial, Institutional, Office/Distribution, Education, Religious, Transportation, Residential and Dental Facilities I decided to retire and closed my architectural firm Gang 2 Architects in 2013. Now having failed at retirement the decision has been made to open a new company, John Burk, Design & Consulting. The new company will offer design services for single family residential projects, quality control services for owners involved in architectural projects or architects who desire the eyes of an experienced retired architect to review projects for constructability issues and document coordination issues and for working with anyone in project development to find financial assistance for development projects through my network of private equity sources.
