Founded in 1980 to develop a medical ultrasound imaging system, the Intrascan, for use by neurosurgeons during neurosurgery. The Intrascan was marketed by Linscan until 2004. In 2005, performed research and development for a new hand-held/portable device used for the evaluation of retinal functions of an eye (an Electroretinograph). The unit is currently being marketed to ophthalmologists by an affiliated company - Ocuscience - as the HMsERG. Its application is both for animals and humans. In 2009, became associated with Amber Precision Instruments who is the world leader and developer of system-level electromagnetic immunity evaluation tools. Linscan provides technical assistance in packaging, manufacturing and testing of the API products which are market throughout the world.
