Car Pretty was established in 1974 in Glendale, California where we primarily installed stripes and graphics. Early on we began distributing to other installers as a means to get better pricing and to grow the business. Even though we loved California, we missed family back east and our growing business afforded us the opportunity to move to Richmond, Virginia in 1987 and open a new store. Today we install and distribute pinstripes; sign vinyl; body side molding; paint protection film; chrome covers for grilles, wheel skins, door handles and mirrors; side bars; bugshields; ventvisors; roof racks; tonneau covers; spoilers; window tint and fender trim. Our Sign Department makes and installs vehicle lettering; and creates aluminum signs, banners, yard signs, business cards, t-shirts and more.
