We are brothers that recently got into motorcycle riding (one many years before the other) and really enjoy the freedom it offers. But one thing we struggled with was the non-freedom that keys brought to the event. Not to mention the damage a key ring brought to the finish of the bike while riding.; and if you are anything like we are, we clean and shine our bikes constantlly, which drives our wives crazy. We started to look at options. We considered other keyless solutions - being RFID tags or better know as FOBs to add to our bikes. When considering these, we saw that you would still need to carry your keys (which is always a good thing anyways) and if you lost one, was very expensive to purchase a replacement - not to mention be stranded somewhere.
