Richard Lachance began his real estate career in 1971 after graduation from Rider College with Spurwink Agency in Portland, Maine. He later rose to branch manager of their Raymond office. He then moved to Peterson Realty in North Windham. Richard then opened his own office Spurwink Agency in Raymond, Maine. In 1983 he moved to Rockport, Maine and sold timeshares for the Samoset Resort for 3 years and was in charge of Broker referral program. In 1986 he formed Lachance Realty Group and began real estate auctions in 1989.. In 1999 he went to work for Jackson Hewitt Tax preperation in Rockland, Maine on a seasonal basis. In 2008 heopened his own tax business Lachance Tax Service at 19 Long Cove Road St. George, Maine. In 2011 he became Maine broker for Hudson & Marshall auctioning foreclosure
