Artist Jorge Blanco is a renown sculptor, illustrator and graphic designer, born in Caracas, Venezuela. In 1999 he made the United States his home, becoming an American citizen. Jorge lives and works in the West Coast of Florida. He showed his first sculpture in Caracas in 1974, since then he has exhibited in Uruguay, China, Spain, Italy and in the USA. His works are in private and public collections worldwide. ?Jorge has been awarded public sculpture commissions in Kansas, California, Nevada, Michigan and Florida. In 2005 he was named as one of Florida's Top Power Players by Florida International Magazine. His work is exhibited in galleries in Florida, California and South America.

Over the last twelve years I have focused on public art. I'm proud to have placed sculptures in some of the cities here in Florida. I believe that art enriches all of our lives and brings us together. It offers cultural identity and civic pride. I enjoy the creative process from conception to installation. Artist Statement I enjoy the challenge of bringing life to steel, imparting a feeling of motion and expression to an unyielding and heavy material. What has developed is an intuitive physical process of heating, hammering, bending, welding, and grinding that produces organic and rhythmic sculptures from hard iron.

 Recognized by colleagues and clients for her professionalism, candor, attention to detail, and visionary enthusiasm for public and corporate art projects -- Brenda's projects vary in scale, budget, and involvement from round table discussions to installations of site-specific canvas, sculpture, and annual projects such as collaborating with CEO and entrepreneur of a nationally recognized health care consultancy firm to produce various art related projects.
