Sleet & Sole socks are designed by us, made by us and sent to you by us, all in the New York/New Jersey area. That means no middleman and lower shipping costs. Not to mention a direct relationship to the people who are really making your product. We also source many of our sustainable yarns in the USA from small batch merino wool to Repreve ® made from recycled plastic bottles. Sustainable Materials: Make a Difference What you use to make your product says as much about your brand as the final product itself. That’s why at Sleet & Sole, we are committed to using the highest quality sustainable materials. With the recycled and Repreve ® yarns we use, we are able to divert 3 plastic bottles from polluting our waterways and landfills with each pair of our recycled socks. Our small batch merino wool is specially spun for us at a mill in North Carolina that sources from local farmers. And our bamboo socks are made from FSC certified bamboo fiber, one of the fastest growing and renewable fiber sources in the world.
