Because it is so fine, Mountain Meadow Wool is silky soft to the touch, insulates much better, breathes far more effectively, and feels delightful next to your skin. The growers actually own the fiber until it is sold as yarn. This ensures that they receive a fair wage for their efforts, encouraging them to continue sustainable agricultural methods.
