Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Huffman Welding, LLC and Summerfield Ironworks are the companies of Summerfield, NC welder and blacksmith Randy Huffman. The great-grandson of a blacksmith (and a bootlegger!), and grandson of a WWII shipyard welder from Pascagoula, Mississippi, metalwork is in Randy's blood. He started welding early, and learned techniques from his mentor, the late Frank Holder of Lewisville, NC. A professional ironworker/welder since 1978, Randy started Huffman Welding in 1982. His commercial work has expanded across the Carolinas.
