The Isle of Wight Volunteer Rescue Squad was formed in 1968 to provide emergency medical response to the citizens of the county. We offer Junior memberships for ages 15 to 18 yrs. Which is a good incentive for younger people to get a head start in a great career. We offer an Associate membership in which members provide 12 hours of service per month, we also offer full time memberships in which members provide 24 hours of duty per month in accordance to their schedule. We offer a range from Responder Associate to Paramedic. We also offer training in EVOC (emercency vehecile operation course), CPR, and EMT-B classes during each year.
