Come get IN the water instead of on it. Riverboarding is whitewater at face level. In short, you get to bodyboard down rapids; but on a beefier, more buoyant board made for whitewater and with plenty of protective gear. Our owner, Kevin is a regional pioneer in the sport with numerous first descents, record high water runs, and competition results; and is a cutting edge board designer as well. At the moment, we offer riverboard instruction on the Tuckasegee river near Sylva / Dillsoboro, NC on Saturdays from late May through Labor Day. We also have additional days available on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day weekends ( Sun 5/24, Mon 5/25, Sun 7/5, Sun 9/6, Mon 9/7).
