Lynette Coffey is in the business of caring for our local dancers; she has been since opening Naples Dance Supply out of 172-square-foot conference room in October 2008. "I had an outside reception area and every night at close, I would wheel the racks back into the little room and lock the French doors," she recalls. Coffey's then nine-year-old daughter, Caroline, was a young dancer when Coffey saw a need and explored her idea to start a store. When she consulted with other mothers as they waited for dance lessons to wrap up, they where very encouraging. Coffey admits she launched the store without much advance planning, jumping in feet first. "One day I was just open," she says. Since then, operating the shop has been a learning experience. "It's been a progression".
