My name is Matt, and my wife Hope and I are the owners of Leisure Line Stove company. As a young boy I remember the cold Pennsylvania winters in our drafty 150 year old farm house. Boy do I wish we had an anthracite burning stove back then! In 2004 while working at the Boeing Plant in Philadelphia and living in Carbondale, PA I discovered the Anthracite Life. My neighbor had a coal stoker stove in his back room/lounge area at his trucking garage. I remember clearly, stepping into that room from the cold winter air and feeling instantly warm and cozy. At that moment I fell in love with all things anthracite. Not long after I went online and found the Coal-Trol system made by Automation Correct. As an engineer I immediately knew that was how I would control my stove! OOPS, what stove? I didn’t even have one yet. No matter, I bought that control system and then found a used stoker stove. Over the next year I bought every different kind of stoker stove I could find (of course I installed the coal-trol on each), and my poor wife, Hope had to endure me dragging a different stove into the house every month and running my science experiments with burning coal. Now as the proud owner of Leisure Line, I get to live my dream every day and pursue my passion for all things anthracite.
