I started building Guitar amplifiers for my dad in the early 1960's. By the time the USAF called me to serve I had designed and built several very good amplifiers. When I returned from the service, tube amps were rapidly being replaced with solid state units. I re-directed my electronics efforts into industrial measurement and control systems and built two companies around those designs and patents. A few years ago I uncovered my collection of vacuum tubes and amplifier parts. I decided to build some of my old amplifier designs and see what my musician friends thought of them. My amplifiers have been very warmly received by folks looking for the classic sounds of tube amplifiers. My amps are selling briskly at the guitar shows and received excellent reviews in 'Guitar Digest'
