Established January, 2008, A Novel Idea Books, is the only year round bookstore for the Berlin area. In a world of e- mail, e- commerce and e- books, we strive as a small establishment to provide our customers with personalized service and a warm environment that encourages customers to browse, sit and read. As an active member of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce we provide a space for local authors and artists to promote their work.

The author Jeffery Battle, also known as The Aerospace Professor, is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Battle Enterprises, LLC and its subsidiary The Aerospace Professor Company. He is an honorable discharged U.S. Air Force veteran and has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor for the university known as the Harvard of Aviation, the world-renowned Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU); hence the name, The Aerospace Professor book.

We do not buy encyclopedias, Time/Life series, Reader’s Digest books, National Geographic books, American Heritage, mysteries, romance, horror, International editions of textbooks, advance reader’s copies (ARCs), or book club editions. CDs and DVDs: We’re interested in every genre and music type – in fact, the more specific and obscure, the better! Discs should be scratch-free and in their original cases with complete artwork. We do not buy bootleg copies or record club releases, and prefer not to buy promotional copies. We even buy some Toys / Games and unusual items, just tell us what you have. “Pickers” are welcome, if you buy at storage unit sales and get items that I am looking for, bring me your items.
