Joel Beeson was born to two young high school teachers on Christmas morning in 1952. He began working nights at a meat packing plant while still in high school. After graduation from high school, he soon married his high school sweetheart, who he has been with for fifty years. He soon began a twenty-nine-year career in telecommunications. Additionally, he formed a marketing company designed to help grow a small businesses. Later he became a financial adviser and ran a successful practice for over fifteen years. As a natural storyteller and a gifted communicator, he has written Finding Home his first novel. Joel lives in Texas with his loving wife, he is a proud father of a terrific daughter and three wonderful grandchildren.
