Reel Cameras is based in the Pacific Northwest and was founded in late 2011, to provide the outdoors and action sports enthusiast the worlds' most user-friendly 1080p HD point of view (POV) camera. Reel Cameras first model, HD Slayer, was released in 2012 and sold out in 30 days. Reel camera's 2nd generation camera is scheduled to be released in winter 2012-2013. It is to be the first mass-marketed 1080p HD wide-angle point of view camera to include a built-in real time LCD with rewind, fast-forward, and pause and playback features.
