Renaissance Yarns is a local yarn shop (LYS) offering a wide variety of hand dyed, natural and luxury yarns to the hand knitter, crocheter and spinner. Some of our main suppliers are Skacel Collection, Blue Sky Alpacas, Cascade Yarns, Bryson Distributing, Lorna's Laces, Fiesta Yarns, Ironstone Yarns, and Noro. We also carry a wide variety of knitting and crochet books. Our classes are devoted to getting knitters and crocheters the knowledge and confidence while working on their projects. We offer How to Knit and How to Crochet classes as well as how to knit socks and garments. For the spinner, we offer spindle classes. We have a Wednesday knit night (meet up) at the shop. Though you need to board a ferry to get to Bainbridge from Seattle, it is a quick 35 minute ferry ride and quite lovely at that. Our shop is nestled in the heart of downtown Bainbridge and an easy walk from the ferry.

We carry Sashiko fabric panels from top designers such as Yoko Saito, Kitty Pippen, Akemi Shibata and Minick & Simpson. We also carry embroidery floss & Sashiko thread from Olympus & Cosmo.
