Maine Memorial Company was started in 1919 by Michael DiMatteo and has been owned by the DiMatteo family for three generations. We specialize in designing & carving cemetery monuments of all shapes & sizes. Our work is of superior quality, that is why we have remained in business for as long as we have. Paul DiMatteo is a Certified Memorialist through the Monument Builders of North America. He is the only Certified Memorialist in the State of Maine, and one of the three Certified Memorialist in New England. Paul has served on the Board of Directors of both the Monument Builders of North America & the New England Monument Dealers Assn., serving as President of both organizations.
