We have always used scented candles in our home to help create a warm, pleasing atmosphere throughout the year, and celebrate the joy that each change of season brings. A few years ago we noticed a significant decline in the quality of candles we were purchasing from a LARGE candle manufacturer that we had done business with for years. The wax was not burning correctly (sometimes not at all), the amount of soot had increased, and dozens of new scents were being added but they weren't as strong as they once were, and some were just plain awful! The only consistency seemed to be the price increases! So, we decided to take matters into our own hands and began researching how to make our own candles. Almost seven years later, we are proud to offer the best soy wax candles available anywhere!

At Lux Aromatica, every single item is hand made by Kerensa and Brian out of our small production studio in Orange, Virginia. We design all our formulas from natural ingredients such as essential oils, soy wax, beeswax, and botanical butters. Our packaging contains recycled, reusable, and biodegradable materials. We design our own labels, and our containers can be re-purposed, re-filled or recycled. Our apothecary offerings include soy candles, soaps, lotions and perfumes, with new recipes always in formulation.
