The Elm Guest House has been owned and operated by the Asher family for over 50 years. It is named for an American Elm Tree that graces the front of the house. We are located 5 miles from the University of RI and have 8 fabulous beaches and several golf courses within a 5 to 30 minute drive. Other nearby activities include tennis, birdwatching, kayaking, canoeing and charter fising or sailing. The Elm is a pleasant 2 minute walk from Main Street in the historic village of Wakefield, where an assortment of dining opportunities abound. Other Main Street attractions include a river walk, the bike path, homemade icecream and All That Matters, a holistic health and yoga center. Room rates are $90 to $100 per night.
