Originally built as a summer home by the Beebes, a prominent, well-known Boston-area family, in 1878, it was one of the first true mansions on the Cape. The Beebes used Highfield Hall to entertain summer guests in splendor in the Stick-style Queen Anne home. After an extensive renovation, which restored the 21-room mansion to its grand original state, the tradition of entertaining in splendor continues at what is now one of the premier Cape Cod wedding venues.
Imagine slipping into your gown in the sumptuous bride’s room and then descending the ornate staircase and proceeding outside to your wedding ceremony set among acres of lush gardens. Will you say “I do” in the restored Sunken Garden? Or will it be in the West Garden under the canopy of a 100-year-old tree? Picture your cocktail hour on the sprawling veranda and emerald green lawns. The spacious gardens offer the flexibility for a tent which is large enough to comfortably seat receptions of nearly any size for dinner. Dance the night away with your loved ones in the mansion’s elegant rooms.
