At Wild Card Dance Co we provide experienced professional teachers to all of our students in every form of dance. Dancers interested in a customized dance education may audition for placement in the Wild Card Dance Performance Co. This track offers dancers more performance opportunities, specialized training, and instruction from leading industry professionals. If your Wild Card student is looking to show off their singing, acting, and dancing talents they can audition to be in the studio’s annual musical. Finally, each dance season concludes with our studio’s annual dance recital celebrating the hard work and accomplishments of all of our dancers. Tutu Ballet Academy offers ballet classes and a wide variety of dance classes including hip hop, Jazz, tumbling, musical theatre, Irish dancing, Boys only ballet, Tutu Camps & Tutu Tea Parties. The youngest child of 3 thru 18 can earn medals & awards for taking our fun annual ballet exams through the Royal Academy of Dance. Trophies are also awarded to children that participate in our annual ballet production in June. WHY BALLET Ballet is the foundation of all forms of dance. It starts with little fairy ballerinas and ends with dancing on your toes…. Trying to make a dancer without first taking proper ballet classes is like cooking a cake without the milk and eggs…. It will be an uphill struggle MISSION To promote and enhance dance teaching locally in Santa Clarita by offering syllabus/Curriculum guided dance classes and providing Performance Examinations to reward achievement, so preserving the rich, artistic and educational value of dance for future generations. OUR CREDENTIALS TUTU Ballet Academy is registered and licensed through The Royal Academy of Dance in London. This organization is the largest examining body in the world. It has over 12,000 members and operates in 79 countries. The RAD is now educating and training over 1,000 trainee teachers and offering examinations to 230,000 young people every year. OUR PHILOSOPHY Tutu Ballet Academy believes that children have an unlimited capacity for learning if we tap into their creative learning process. Our teaching approach must be creative, inspiring and fun. When a child is inspired, success and learning is sure to follow. As teachers we are placed in a tremendous amount of responsibility to not only educate but to nurture. Equally important in the teaching process is the acknowledgement part of the childs hard work in class and at home. Our daily verbal encouragement and annual RAD Ballet Awards and ceremonies will give the child’s progress and commitment validity as well as a sense of accomplishment. The art of ballet paired with timeless classical music remains the same, what is different in Tutu Ballet Academy is the approach on how we introduce this. It should not be intimidating, instead fun, inviting and most of all child friendly. The children will learn and get promoted following our world famous curriculum. We also integrate elements of Russian Vaganova training from age 12- advanced.

Our ALIGN 1 total beginners program helps adults with no prior experience learn the fundamentals of a classical ballet barre. Our 3 progressive workshops for beginners enable students to attend our open class schedule and make classical ballet a part of their lifestyle. Launched in 2012 by former professional dancer and personal trainer Michael Cornell the goal was to make ballet accessible to all. The Align Ballet Method has helped thousands of adults live their ballet dream. Our open inclusive community allows adults of all ages and shapes learn ballet in a supportive nurturing environment. Beyond the basics we also provide performance opportunities and pointe classes.
