Melanie Bohle purchased Dynamix School of Dance in 2003 from Kristine Delfs. Prior to this Melanie had worked in the forklift industry for 10 years primarily at Schaeff Inc. where she was Director of Sales at the time the company was sold. She has a BA in Dance from the University of Iowa, spent 3 years at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, working with Programs for Children and Youth and Educational Services and also taught ballroom dance at Arthur Murray in Falls Church, Virginia. Later she worked with the outdoor drama, “The Life and Times of Jesse James” at the Clay County Parks Department in Kearney, Missouri and at Teikyo Westmar, in LeMars as the recruiter for the Theatre and Dance Dept. and as the Public Relations Director. She has worked with High School Dance Teams of Kingsley Pierson, Woodbury Central and North High in Sioux City. She has choreographed numerous productions at SCCT including Cats, High School Musical, The Producers, Oklahoma, and The Full Monty. She has been a member of the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters since 2003.

Our classes we offer: Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Poms, Hip Hop, Acrobats (Tumbling), Pointe, and Baton. We also offer competition classes for ages 5 to 18.

Perfected Praise is a four-fold ministry. The four components are as follows: outreach/community, children, adult and instructional. We are available for many different opportunities of ministry in each field. Examples of Opportunities Outreach/Community: parades, festivals, school functions, club activities Children: workshops with ribbons, youth retreats Adults: conferences,gatherings,retreats,workshops, and programs such as: praise and worship services, anniversaries, women's day, weddings/receptions, or other special programs/occassions Instructional: seminars and workshops on praise/worship/dance/scriptural dance/mime/ribbons & Flags/leadership/mentoring Ellaysa is also the East Region Coordinator for International Dance Commission.

Dance-a-Cross is fun for the whole family and is conveniently located in the Normandy Plaza by Hy-Vee. With more than 25 years of experience and 18 years in business, our dance classes are fun for everyone. We teach all ages, from two to adult. Dance-a-Cross offers a wide variety of classes including: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Tumbling, Cheer, Pointe, Hip-Hop, Modern, Competitive classes, Adult ballroom, and Zumba. We’re Steppin Out Dance & Tumbling Studio, and we’ve been a dance studio here in Newton, IA, since 1996. We specialize in musical theater and tumbling, and we have a competitive dance team.
