The New Mexico Tango Academy is the only dedicated tango school in the region. We currently offer Beginner Tango, Intermediate Tango, and Tango Technique classes. Our goal is to promote social dancing and get our dancers ready for the dance floor in a short time. Albuquerque has a vibrant tango scene, where you can enjoy your newly acquired skills.

Belisama Irish Dance was founded in 2006 in Santa Fe and Los Alamos, New Mexico. We are focused on the dancer as an individual with the goal being a well-rounded person as well as a good dancer. We have a strong focus on performance and choreography, and we perform frequently in the communities of Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Albuquerque. Students are invited to create choreography as well, which encourages creative thinking and gives the opportunity to teach others. We compete a few times a year and belong to Cumann Rince Naisunta (CRN), one of the three major Irish dance organizations in Ireland. While competition is encouraged, it is not required to be a student of Belisama. All levels and ages are welcome!

At NMx we help our dancers to be positive and productive citizens, we teach important life skills and provide a quality dance program. Numerous studies have shown that children that participate in dance receive higher grades, are more disciplined, have a higher sense of self-respect, self-esteem and self-confidence. The Stars Program teaches goal-setting, teamwork, commitment, and community involvement. NMx instructors have years of experience and receive on-going training in the latest dance techniques to improve dance skill and injury prevention each year.
