Na Ho'Olaule'a is Hawaiian for celebration, and that is exactly what we do. We celebrate the spirit of Aloha in a fun and happy environment, as we experience the amazing cultures and dances of Polynesia. We offer dance classes to all levels of experience, from beginner to advanced, ages 7 and up. Modern and ancient Hawaiian Hula, the poi ball dances of New Zealand, the hip shake dance of Tahiti, and Samoan dancing are all taught with expertise. The instructors are a mother/daughter team with over 16 years of combined experience. We offer group classes once a week, perform at parties and special events and offer private lessons.

Ms. Debi has danced and taught ballet for over 40 years. After graduating early from high school, Debi left for the acclaimed Royal Ballet School in London (www.royal-ballet-school.org) at the age of 17. One year later she was off to the mainland to audition for what became a career spanning 13 years at the Deutsche Oper Am Rhein in Dusseldorf, Germany (see http://www.rheinoper.de). many roles and performances included Coppelia, Swan Lake, The Bartered Bride and many more. Under the direction of Richard Barfuss, their ballet group achieved recognition both in Germany and around Western Europe. This studio is her chance to share some of the ballet knowledge and experience with aspiring ballerinas in the area!

As Ballet Folklorico Ollin, Isaac and Cathy Shultz-Reyes brings Mexico's history and culture to life through colorful dances, festive music, beautiful costumes and informative narration. From ancient symbolic Aztec dances to the famous Mexican Hat Dance are among the many delights of the program. The audience actively participates learning a Mexican dance and playing the pinata game. Isaac Shultz-Reyes- Artist-In-Residence Specializing in Mexican dance and Folk Arts, Isaac offers a wide variety of creative experiences in dance, visual arts, music and folklore in a school residency or workshop format, with hands-on projects including pinatas, papier-mache masks, colorful paper flowers, folk dances, and decorative papel picado. The residency culminates with a colorful Mexican fiesta.
