Your Alaska caribou huning adventure begins when you touch down in Kotzebue after your flight from Anchorage. Before nightfall, you'll have your camp set up in one of the most remote areas of the world: the arctic tundra, your caribou hunting grounds! Caribou In the fall, the Caribou herd will have split up into smaller herds moving totheir wintering areas. Earlier in the spring the caribou herd would have been as many as 500,000 strong, now they travel in groups that number in the hundreds. Our job, as your outfitter, is to keep track of the caribou and to put you in the best place to hunt them. We begin our Caribou hunt drop off season the last few days of August and run through the end of September. What sets us apart from the others: We drop off caribou hunters in GMU 23 and 26.
