Join Charleston’s most photographed guides & their parrots on a walk through the city’s Golden Age of Piracy during our daytime tours. Join us in the evening for a Ghost & Pirate Tour. We also offer the Children’s Treasure Hunt Tour, Daytime History & Ghost Tour, private tours, and group tours.
Pirate Tours: History comes alive - Blackbeard'.s true past and why he blockaded our harbor, why Charlestonian Ann Bonny turned pirate and fell in love with Calico Jack, what happened to Gentleman Pirate Stede Bonnet after he was captured wearing a dress, Charleston's evolution from pirate haven to target.
Childrens Treasure Hunt Tours: Young buccaneers make their very own pirate flags & practice sword drills. We then set out on our treasure hunt, exploring the history of White Point Gardens and Charleston Harbor. The tour ends when we find the treasure chest and divvy up the plunder. Each child receives a foam rubber sword and “treasure” to keep as souvenirs.
Daytime History & Ghost Tour: Some of Charleston’s most fascinating ghost stories are in areas that organized tours cannot go at night, so we offer you the chance to see these spooky sites during a daytime tour. Duels, unrequited love, wars, and natural disasters have left us with more than our fair share of specters! Many of them roam the quiet streets in the city’s most picturesque neighborhoods, and that’s exactly where this tour goes. We’ll also share some of the captivating history found in these neighborhoods.
Evening Pirate & Ghost Tour: Charleston hanged 53 pirates between 1717 and 1718. Many of them joined the Holy City’s countless, restless spirits to haunt us. Take an eerie, evening stroll with us to seek the shadows of the past and to explore chilling Gullah beliefs, hoodoo, and root doctors.
We also offer customized private tours for groups of all sizes.and destination management services.

We had a fabulous time on our tour with Eric and Capt. Bob! All ages enjoyed Eric's storytelling. His knowledge combined with humor made for a very entertaining morning.
My son wanted to go on the tour, which I thought would be a bit hokey. I must say, I was WRONG. We had several tours of Charleston, and I must say ERIC IS THE BEST TOUR GUIDE IN TOWN!!!!!”
Sabrina was very entertaining and knowledgeable. History, great scenes, spooky stories and a great guide.
I took my 4 & 6 year old on the kids’ tour. Just the right length & information was perfectly suited to their ages.
