The inspiration for Horse in the City LLC came from three friends with a horse living and working in horse zoned areas of Los Angeles. We found there are a number of unique aspects of city life with horses. The shared public trails and facilities mean you will meet joggers, dogs and other horses on every ride. The large horse (and human) populations limit the space around your stall and tack rooms. Without a pasture, your horse doesn't have the ability to exercise himself and needs to be worked or ridden everyday. The question then is; why, with all of these problems do people keep horses in urban areas? The answer is we love the big, silly pets and this is where we work and live. Thus, Horse in the City was created to help you enjoy your horse in the crowded city.
