Smart Rain’s main goal is to ‘Same Money, Save Water.’ In only 3 short years of being in business Smart Rain has already saved customers a total of roughly 250,000,000 gallons of fresh water. That is enough to provide 10,000 Utahans with fresh water for an entire year. How is that possible? Well, nationally we waste about 1.7 trillion gallons of fresh water every year (according to the EPA). Of all that fresh water we use 60% of it is used for irrigating our landscapes and half of all irrigation water is wasted from over watering, system faults, and watering while raining. Smart Rain has successfully been able to upgrade systems to a new age technology based controller that can be remotely monitored to reduce waste and conserve.
