Dr. Thomas R. Fry DVM, MS Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons Dr. Fry is a board certified veterinary surgeon. He received his DVM from Washington State University in 1985, completed a rotating internship at Cornell University and a three year residency and masters degree in small animal surgery at the University of Illinois in 1990. Following his residency, he was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Oklahoma State University, an orthopaedic researcher, and since 1995 has owned his own referral surgery practice. Dr. Fry's areas of special interest include laser surgical treatment, orthopaedics, and tumor resection. *Rehabilitation Services Now Available! On graduation (WSU 94') Dr. Julie Clark joined a large veterinary group in Las Vegas where she gained years of experience in a very short time. With the approach of her first child Julie and her husband decided to leave the lights of Vegas behind and return to the Northwest. In 1997 Dr. Clark opened Harvard Animal Hospital. Dr. Nissa Gese joined our practice in 2002 and has been with us since. 2008 saw the completion of our new facility and the new name of Liberty Lake Veterinary Center. Drs. Clark and Gese both follow a fairly traditional approach to veterinary medicine although Dr. Gese does have an interest in nutrition and herbal/acupuncture from the far east. Dr. Gese is currently training to become certified in veterinary acupuncture which should be completed in spring 2012.
