Horse Barn Hinesburg at Livery Horse farm. It had been a lifelong dream of Kim’s to own a horse barn where kids could learn to ride and she could share her love of horses. The Livery Horse Farm was established in 1992 when Kim and Scott bought the old Lavigne cow farm in Hinesburg, VT. The barn was converted to a horse barn using wood from the silo. The out buildings were transformed into the hay barn, numerous horse run-ins, as well as, a chicken house and blacksmith shop. Over the years, improvements have been made, and made again. All old fencing replaced, rewiring of the barn, enlarging the refooting the riding ring, and structural renovations of the barn while keeping the look of the authentic Vermont farm.

A professional FEI rider, trainer, and instructor, Ruth Hogan-Poulsen has been long-listed by the USET multiple times and has been awarded the USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal as well as the USDF Freestyle Gold Bar. Ruth is based out of East Hill Farm in Plainfield, Vermont, each year from May through November. From November to May, Ruth runs her training and teaching business from Wellington Fl. Aside from her teaching and training business, Ruth owns and operates two other companies. Dressage and Details, LLC is an educational and tutorial company that produces educational products for competitors and non competitors alike. Freestyles From A to C, LLC is a company that creates, edits, composes freestyles and music for training for all levels of competitors and non competitors.
