Every week owner Tom O'Connor searches out the best fresh and local fruit in Seattle. He samples fruit from the "highstall" Market produce vendors, such as Choice Produce and Pepper, as well as from the "daystall" farmers and growers. He then considers his 12 small Washington farmer partners on both sides of the Cascades. To round out his weekly search, he taste-tests produce from up to five local wholesalers. Unlike CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture), the best fruit is selected from multiple sources-resulting in a taste advantage their customers appreciate.
