Bruce W. Cardone, MD, is a radiologist at Vena - The Varicose Vein Institute in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He is additionally on staff at St. Mary\'s Hospital and Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Over the course of his 28 years in practice, he became an expert in phlebology, diagnostic ultrasound, vascular medicine, and, of course, all aspects of radiology. Phlebology is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of venous disorders. Dr. Cardone received his medical degree in 1984 from the University of Torino in Italy and further trained in general surgery at St. Francis Medical Center, but also in diagnostic radiology at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, and CT scans and MRI at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Cardone is a distinguished member of the American Medical Association, the Radiological Society of North America, the American College of Phlebology, the Wisconsin Medical Society, and the Wisconsin Radiological Society.
