He currently serves as clinical instructor in dentistry at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and is a member of one of the two Cranial Facial Anomalies Teams in Tennessee. He has received several high-profile appointments by elected officials, including a post on the Governor’s Family Involvement Task Force of the Tennessee Children’s Service Commission and the Mayor of Nashville’s Advisory Committee for the handicapped. Dr. Taylor has also participated in dozens of mission trips to third-world countries such as Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Dominican Republic, St. Kitts and Jamaica, where he provides much-needed dental services to the needy. Dr. Taylor is active in and past president of both the Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Hendersonville.
