Cleft Palate Institute is located in Erie, Michigan. We specialize in the treatment and planning of both Cleft Palates and Cleft Lips. Our mission is the physical and communicational restoration of those children presenting with cleft lip/palate or various craniofacial anomalies to as nearly normal status as possible. Our team establishes comprehensive diagnosis, develops coordinated treatment plans, provides follow up care and appropriate referrals, and provides family support all during monthly clinics. Our team consist of highly qualified and dedicated medical and non-medical volunteers who provide care for all individuals presenting with various clefting and facial differences. The team includes: a plastic surgeon, oral surgeons, pediatric dentists, orthodontists, a prothodontist, speech/language pathologists, a public health nurse, feeding specialists, psychologists, an audiologist and volunteer support staff.
