Located in downtown Mesa, Women's Birth & Wellness Center (WBWC), provides women and families opportunities to birth in a cozy birth center or in their own home. The providers contracted at WBWC are experienced certified nurse midwives (CNM's) or certified professional midwives (CPM's) and are well educated in the skills of midwifery. CNM's are also primary care providers, who can treat the whole family for minor illnesses, provide Well Women and Well Men Care, Well Child Exam, sport exams, college physical exams, acne, skin rashes, ear infection, sinus infections, etc. Additionally, WBWC contracted with family nurse practitioners (FNP) who holds a master of science degree in nursing, with additional education in family health. The goals of WBWC are to provide education in all areas of life. Currently WBWC offers: CenteringPregnancy, traditional childbirth classes, sibling classes, breastfeeding education and support, birth control options including natural family planning, mother/daughter classes (Our Bodies, Our Own), mommy play days, weekly prayers &meditations, yoga. Free pregnancy testing for women who are applying for WIC and AHCCCS. We are adding the following: Birthing Reading Book Club, Weight Loss, Mom's Loving Parents and Adult Children ("Sandwich Moms"), Hot & Flashy Women (women suffering from perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms). Look monthly for changes on the calendar! Finally, our organization offers opportunity for growth in volunteering in the community
