Care is provided in the office, in hospitals, nursing homes, physical therapy offices, schools and clinics. In addition, homebound patient care is provided as needed. History Since 1949, ARIMED ORTHOTICS & PROSTHETICS, Inc. has been dedicated to providing the best possible care for our patients using the most advanced technology. ARIMED is based in New York City and has offices in the boroughs of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island. ARIMED's personnel are experienced and dedicated. Our Practitioners are American Board Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists. We are accredited by the Board for Certification and are licensed by the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs. In addition, we have professional Orthopedic Fitters, Technicians and ancillary staff members. ARIMED offers on-site laboratory and technical staff, which enables us to quickly and effectively create and fine-tune patient care devices.
