Silver Springs Aggregate was founded in 1978 by Wallace A. Davis and his wife Lorraine. The quarry served large and small alike with honesty and integrity, providing the highest quality aggregate materials. The business was populated by all members of the Davis family, running everything from shovels, to the largest of equipment. Mr. Davis became ill with mesotheleoma in 2007, and sold the business to a Mr. Grant Smith of Yerington, NV. Mr. Smith ran the business for 2 yrs until Mr. Davis passed away, at which time Smith defalulted on the purchase, sold or stole all the equipment, and walked away. The heirs of Wallace and Lorraine are now back in business, and picking up the pieces. The quarry (128 acres) is still full of the highest quality materials.
