"Established in 1998, VAS is now a system of billet and steel rolling mills with a total capacity: - 4.350.000 tons square billet; - 2.500.000 tons of Rebar & Wire rod. VAS steel products comply with Standard Regulation QCVN:2011/BKHCN and meet Vietnamese Standards (TCVN), Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM). To ensure the best quality and stability, VAS's products are strictly inspected by certified quality management system ISO900l:2008 and an advanced laboratory obtaining modern equipment granted by European standard ISO/IEC17025:2005. Besides the steel production system, VAS has invested in building a seaport system to create a complete ecosystem to serve the sustainable business strategy for VAS. The system of seaports and wharves is capable of loading, unloading and circulating goods through the port with the capacity of: - Over 15.000.000 tons/year for bulk cargo; - Over 100.000 TEU/year for container cargo."
