Award Equipment is Western New York's leading supplier of steam valves, condensate pumps, and all things steam. Award Equipment Company was founded in 1957 by John A. Ward. One of John's long time employees was Stan Lipowicz. Stan started out his early years as a steam fitter, project engineer and estimator for several mechanical contractors in the Buffalo area. In 1975 Stan purchased Award Equipment from John A. Ward. Stan quickly hired his sons Jeff and Paul to grow the company and in 1995 Award equipment was purchased by Jeff and Paul.
