Founded in 1947, Richardson Gratings, a Newport company, designs and manufacturers standard and custom diffraction gratings for use in analytical instrumentation, lasers and tunable light sources, fiber optic telecommunications networks and photolithographic systems, as well as for researchers, astronomers and educators. Our product range consists of a wide variety of standard and custom diffraction gratings: plano and concave, reflection and transmission, fine and coarse (including echelles). We can provide engineering guidance to help you identify the right grating for your optical system. All Richardson gratings products are RoHS- and REACH-compliant. Our laboratories are capable of producing customized ruled and holographic master gratings that meet demanding performance requirements, and our replication facilities can produce thousands of high-fidelity replicas of these master gratings.
